
Ohh, I wish I could say that I woke up at 6am to bake my own bread! But I didn’t…
Anyway. The purchase in the nearest bakery was fabulous, and the other part of the breakfast is mine, for sure.
The reason I’m not making my own bread is very simple: It is flour and dough all over the place and it’s more than I can handle. I am amazed by this fact all the time, especially when I open the fridge. “What? How?” Interesting and mysterious. But the cleaning process of all this mess definitely isn’t. I need more practice, I have to admit.
So one of my next projects is Home baked sourdough or multigrain bread.
Grilled Halloumi with Rocket and Pomegranate
- 2 slices of rye bread toast
- 2 slices of grilled halloumi or grilled soft cheese
- rocket salad
- pomegranate
Egg Salad

- 2 diced hard-boiled eggs
- 1 chopped celery stick
- 1/2 chopped Capia pepper
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- salt and pepper
